A PET OWNER’S EXPERIENCE WITH FLORAMORIAL
“The end of a friend and a new beginning.”
“I was introduced to Floramorial by my friend Bob Jenkins. This company converts cremated ash into a planting material. The process is simple for the consumer. I was mailed an addressed postage paid container to send Anak’s ash to the Floramorial processing location…and Anak was returned to us as potting soil!
Jennifer and I searched for the appropriate tree to plant and finally decided on a Katsura Tree. This Japanese ornamental tree was perfect for a couple of reasons. First, Anak loved to chase cats. Secondly, the leaves are heart shaped, similar to an aspen tree, representing her love for Colorado.
Quinlan and I spent the afternoon digging the hole. What a wonderful time he had using an adult sized shovel to place one or two clumps of dirt into the wheelbarrow! It was a great bonding experience that I know Anak would have enjoyed.
I look at the tree on a daily basis and smile as it now represents something much more than just a beautiful tree. It represents the memory of our beloved pet. Time makes memories fade. But now I will always clearly remember Anak and her life.”
It is a common misconception that scattered cremation ash quickly breaks down and returns to nature. Actually, cremation ash remains virtually unchanged in the environment for generations. Floramorial has developed a process that frees the nutrients contained in ash, creating a rich potting soil.
Petaflorial, the pet version of Floramorial, will nourish either existing or newly planted trees or other favorite plants. You can share Petaflorial soil with family and friends. It can be scattered in places you and your pet enjoyed together. Wherever it is scattered or planted it supports vegetation and benefits the ecosystem.
Whatever your plans for your pet’s ashes, return some of it to nature to live again as a floral memorial.
